Police said Biggs has resigned from his teaching position at William Lenoir Middle School.

Lenoir authorities said they began their investigation in November after a female middle school student reported being assaulted on college grounds. The analysis led to more students coming ahead, totaling five, according to authorities.

Police said each one the incidents occurred on college grounds.

“It is difficult on the school and the children there,” Lenoir authorities Capt. Brent Phelps stated. “These are hard cases.”

Police said the man attackers followed the 34-year-old girl when she left the channel about 2% on Sept. 28.

Authorities said the girl was approached on Hill Street as she was walking to a local apartment complex.

“It is really disgusting and it’s crazy to me,” neighbor Safiya Kiongozi stated. “This simply doesn’t happen. For four people, you have together and created a strategy. That’s disgusting.”

Investigators do not think the victim understood her attackers. They are believed to be between 15 and 20 years old with ties to Decatur.

“It also makes me scared as a girl,” Kiongozi stated.

Police released sketches of all of the four people.

Police said they have identified one of the people, but four are still on the run.

Karl Anderson, who lives in the area where the incident happened, said two of the four seemed familiar but he didn’t remember when he last saw them.

“It disturbs me for my spouse and women,” he explained.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. A girl has been billed in connection with a two-car wreck that claimed the life of her 14-month-old niece a week, authorities in North Carolina stated.

Officials with the Charlotte Fire Department said the wreck occurred Wednesday north of uptown Charlotte, at the 1500 block of North Graham Street.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg authorities said the driver of a 2005 Toyota Corolla, 33-year-old Dora Del Carmen Sosa, was traveling northbound on North Graham Street near Plymouth Avenue supporting a big truck, possibly a dump truck or garbage truck. Her 14-month-old niece was at the vehicle.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Sosa changed lanes to pass the truck but was stopped when she saw that a pickup truck stopped and attempted to turn left. Police said she swerved across the pickup to oncoming lanes, hitting a southbound Toyota Camry driven by 43-year-old David Collins Jr..

Medics took the motorists and child to Carolinas Medical Center for treatment. The motorists sustained serious injuries, although the child had life-threatening harms.

According to investigators, the young girl was in a baby carrier, but it was not being used correctly and she was not properly restrained.

Detectives said they believed the misuse of the child passenger seat was a leading factor in the passing. Speed and alcohol weren’t considered contributing factors.

On Tuesday, Del Carmen Sosa was discharged from CMC and taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, where she was served with warrants for involuntary manslaughter, felony child abuse and no operator’s permit.

CMPD officials said Tuesday that the investigation remains active and ongoing.

Special-Education Teacher Accused Of Using Classroom To Have Sex With Student

Police say Jordan Dominique Ondish, 23, a teacher at Summit Academy at Herman, is accused of having an improper relationship with a 19-year-old pupil.

State authorities said college officials contacted them on Nov. 27 after getting a phone using sexually explicit text conversations between the victim and Ondish. She’s also accused of purchasing the victim that phone, that is contrary to school rules.

Ondish began working at the college, a rehab facility for juvenile offenders, in June.

The victim told investigators he and Ondish began talking out class, and their interaction improved before they had sex in a classroom twice in November, investigators said.

“State authorities investigated this,” said Trooper Dan Kesten. “It was not a relationship that the two were assumed to possess; this has been reverse sexual attack.”

Police said Ondish admitted to the relationship. School officials had issued a warning to her regarding the victim, such as having the victim inside her classroom after hours.

Summit Academy released this statement Monday afternoon.

“The government at Summit Academy was created conscious of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a pupil and it was reported on the state authorities. The instructor was subsequently terminated.”

Troopers said Ondish told them she was in a violent relationship at home and developed a psychological attachment to the pupil.
